Rental specialist Cannon Access has cited smart design, premium performance and a quality build as key reasons it has added LGMG scissor lifts to its fleet for the first time.
The hire company, based in Tiptree, Essex, has taken six LGMG AS0607WE electric scissor lifts from Access Platform Sales, the UK and Ireland authorised dealer for the Chinese manufacturer.
Cannon Access Director Tom Cannon said the LGMG AS0607WE, which has a maximum working height of 7.8m, has key features he knows will impress and please his customers.
Electric advantage
He added: “The first thing we liked was the direct electric drive, which provides plenty of power and traction which makes aspects like loading easier. This is important for us in terms of saving time and eliminating risks.
“It also makes the scissor lift more energy efficient, optimising battery run time for our customers. The LGMG AS0607WE also has a lot of smart engineering and design features our customers will appreciate.”
These include an emergency brake release operated by a button rather than a hydraulic pump, plus a very smooth extension deck, and controls that are familiar and easy to use.
Tom Cannon said: “The build quality and paint finish also look very good. They’re supplied by APS, who we’ve been doing business with for more than 15 years which reassures us that LGMGs are good platforms.
“We’re a small access hire company and only offer premium platforms our customers trust and like to use. My assessment is that our new LGMG scissor lifts rival the best in the market. On top of that, APS could fulfil our order very quickly.”
Competitively priced
Linda Betts, Major Accounts Manager at APS, said: “We’re delighted the LGMG AS0607WE has met the exacting standards set by Tom and his team at Cannon Access.
“It shows LGMG scissor lifts and booms are not just competitively priced and can be supplied by APS in a timely way, they also impress rental companies that trade on quality, performance, and reliability first.”
The LGMG AS0607WE scissor lift has a maximum platform height of 5.8m. Its 1.63m platform has a capacity of 230kg, while the 900mm extension deck can carry 120kg.
The scissor lift weighs 1,620kg, has a travel width of 760mm, a gradeability of 25%, with front wheel brakes and solid, non-marking tyres.
Other standard features include proportional controls, a foldable guardrail, pothole guards, tilt alarm with lift cut-out, an overload sensor system, full height drive and an intelligent diagnostic system.
Cannon Access has an expanding hire fleet with almost 150 platforms, including: mast lifts up to 14m; scissor lifts up to 19m; boom lifts up to 26m and Hinowa spiders up to 26m.
