The co-founder of Access Platform Sales (APS) has successfully completed a double charity challenge.
Jim Daintith pledged to complete 30 days without alcohol and to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps per day. During Dry June he walked a total of 356.34 kilometres, clocking up more than 450,000 steps and burning over 93,000 calories.
Jim undertook the challenge to raise money for Help Harry Help Others. This fantastic charity was set up by an incredible and inspirational boy, 11 year-old Harry Moseley, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
Harry was inspired to make a difference to all people with brain cancer when a friend of his who also had a brain tumour became very ill. Within the space of just over two years Harry had organised and attended nearly 100 events to raise money for and awareness of brain cancer.
Today, the charity is funding research to find a cure for brain cancer, as well as helping children and their families who are affected by any cancer.
There is still time to congratulate Jim on his efforts and contribute to a truly worthy cause. You can donate via Jim’s Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/james-daintith
